In 2018, James, Eben and I rolled down to New Braunfels and Austin to take in the MotoGP races at Circuit of the Americas. We dealt with wild weather that flipped between hot and sunny and pouring rain, but got plenty of good food, killer races, and fun out of the bargain.
Southern Throwdown 7, on September 15th 2019, at the Bomb Factory in the Deep Ellum district of Dallas offered up a day full of killer vintage motorcycles and vans, the best BBQ in DFW from The Bucking Pig, live music, and awesome people.
In February 2018, Moto Liberty Dallas held their first Vintage Bike Smash Up, where a good number of unique classic motorcycles turned up. We made our way down there with our pals Fabian and Juan Verde from Denton Moto Collective to hang out at the event.
